↫ I love Clint Barton.
... I love his comic-version. The trashfire-of-a-human who really wants to just do good and not get his ribs broken every month or so. The walking bandaid. The guy who puts his foot in his mouth and doesn't know how to take a day off. The unrepentant coffee addict. The shit-head who has a hard time forming genuine attachments because as a kid he lost his parents, his brother, his own ability to fight back.

↬ I still love Clint Barton.
... Hawkeye wasn't ever going to be the focus of the MCU. He gets nominal love across the Avengers and even in Hawkeye, Kate is just as much the protagonist. That's okay. I think even Clint would say he never wanted the spotlight. This guy can still be a smart-ass. He loves his family and hey, he's got a tattoo sleeve.

TLDR?
... It's hard to play Clint. Do you give him a family? Or do you make him a mess-in-the-streets and a dog-in-the-sheets? Do you make him a good little SHIELD agent, or the guy that Iron Man and Cap have to keep an eye on? Is he from Brooklyn or... Iowa?


I want to play all these Clints, which means I choose at whim and that can be messy. Happy to support any wants from those who play with me.
